Beef Stew with Fire Roasted Salsa and Oranges

2     lb    Beef Stew Meat
12   oz   Fire Roasted Salsa, any will work I just like the smoky flavor but i guess you could add liquid smoke
4     med Oranges

Preheat Oven to 300 degrees
Zest and Squeeze Oranges and set aside.
Heat some oil in a flame and oven proof dish over high heat.  Season with salt and pepper the meat and lightly brown on all sides.  Work in batches, adding more oil, if necessary
When finished add salsa, orange zest and juice to the meat and pour in enough water to cover mixture.  Cover and praise in oven for 2 to 3 hours; add water if necessary.  Taste and add seasoning ad needed.
