Nut Encrusted Steak with Balsamic Syrup

2.5  lb    Steak, whatever looks good.  Sirloin, Ribeye, Fajita meat...
1     c     Blanched Nuts, again whatever you like, I like a mix of walnuts and almonds
1     c     Balsamic Vinegar
2     T     Oil

Cook vinegar in a small saucepan over medium heat. Reduce to about 1/4 cup - ish.
Chop nuts until finely chopped, it should ball up when squeezed.
Place half of the nuts in a pie pan or something similar and press steak into the pan.  Cover with the remaining nuts and press again.
Heat oil in pan until it begins to smoke.  You want the pan HOT.  Sear the steaks for 3-5 minutes on both sides.  If steak is thick, place in 450 degree oven for 5-10 minutes.  Slice and drizzle with syrup and serve.
